Short Path Distillation Receivers provide several borosilicate glass receiver configurations for compatible laboratory distillation systems. Available options include 24/40 and 29/42 joint sizes along with mono-cow, triple-cow, and vacuum-control-valve receiver styles. Selecting the correct variant allows the receiver configuration to be matched to the ground joints and collection requirements of an existing apparatus.

These Short Path Distillation Receivers are made from borosilicate 3.3 glass. Current variants include a 24/40 receiver with vacuum control valves, 150 mL triple-cow and mono-cow receivers with 24/40 connections, and 150 mL triple-cow and mono-cow receivers with 29/42 connections. Review the variant name carefully before ordering because the joint sizes are not interchangeable.

Short Path Distillation Receivers are positioned downstream of compatible distillation heads to direct condensed material into receiving flasks. Multi-port cow receivers can provide multiple receiving positions, while the vacuum-control-valve version provides additional control points within an appropriately configured vacuum system. Actual operation depends on the entire apparatus and procedure.
