The 300mm Vigreux Fractionating Column 24/40 is a borosilicate laboratory distillation component designed to provide additional internal surface area between a boiling vessel and downstream condenser or distillation head. Its approximately 300 mm column length and 24/40 ground-glass connections make it suitable for compatible fractional-distillation assemblies.

A Vigreux column contains internal indentations that increase vapor-liquid contact compared with a plain open glass tube.
