Borosilicate Chromatography Columns

Borosilicate Chromatography Columns provide reusable glass column formats for compatible laboratory separation and media-based workflows. Two sizes are currently offered: 2 x 24 and 3 x 36. Published product information identifies borosilicate glass construction and a 10-micron fritted disc.

The frit supports compatible packing media while allowing liquid to pass through the column. Separation behavior depends on the selected media, particle size, sample composition, solvent system, loading, flow rate, column packing, temperature, and procedure. A chromatography column does not by itself guarantee removal of pesticides, contaminants, colors, or any other target compound.

The design is described as supporting vacuum-assisted operation when incorporated into an appropriate system. Vacuum assistance can affect flow, but it does not guarantee faster or more precise separation. Do not assume an undocumented maximum vacuum or pressure rating.
