Made from durable polyethylene plastic, this funnel is compatible with either Fritware® or Perforated filter plates, providing versatility for different filtration needs. The removable hose barbed connector is designed to fit a 12.7mm (½") I.D. tube, threading securely into the ¾" NPT bung on the funnel.
The Fritware® Porous Filter Plates are supported by a robust multiple ring grid. Made from HDPE and measuring 6.4mm (¼") in thickness, these plates feature a non-porous ring at the periphery to ensure a tight seal when used with filter paper. Two porosity options are available: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), catering to a variety of filtration requirements. The plates operate efficiently within a temperature range from -80ºC (-112ºF) to 52ºC (125ºF).
For those requiring a different filtration method, the Perforated Filter Plates, crafted from 4.8mm thick HDPE, offer flexibility with a choice between fixed and removable configurations. These plates feature perforations of 4.8mm on 11mm centers, suitable for coarse filtration or use with a filter cloth or paper. Their removable option can be particularly valuable in processes such as precious metals recovery.
